Why do I study Japanese

I always find it interesting to learn another new language and the culture behind the language.

For me, my original thought is that I could order the authentic Japanese food one day by my own without looking at the English or Chinese translation in Japan.

Travelling and exploring the world is my interest as well. I hope I can visit Japan during sakura season without getting lost in the streets. Some of my friends told me that if you don't speak Japanese, many shops won't provide service to you.

Another reason is that I would love to let my parents know I am learning "something" that I could prove that I am not wasting their money on college.

Recently, I watched Legal High  for my favorite actress Yui Aragaki.
OMG she's cute. She might be the strongest motivation to study Japanese.

  1. I wonder why you choose your name 木子三石.. I am also very interested in Japanese Kanji for there are so many same Korean nouns having same Kanji. Even pronunciation itself is so similar to Korean! You really became honest in terms of your reason of studying Japanese by the last sentence and I appreciate it haha.

    1. LOL my name written in kanzi will be 李磊, which if you take it apart, becomes 木子(李)石石石(磊)
